Write, write, write!
March 10, 2006 on 11:55 am | In Marketing, Writing | No CommentsWrite, write, write!
By Dr Kem Thompson
I should just leave this tip at that, shouldn’t I?:)
But seriously, writing is a cost- effective way of promoting
your business. It exposes you to potential customers in a way
that few other marketing vehicles do.
Writing and submitting your work to online sites gives you
fr*ee marketing opportunities. It also increases your credibility
in the eyes of potential customers.
Have you taken advantage of this very effective marketing
strategy?
If not, why not?
~*~’What If I Can’t Write?’~*~
Common question, common excuse with a simple answer:
if you can talk, you can write.
You don’t need to be a professional writer before
you can write as a way of marketing your business.
All you do need to do is
. Want to write
. Decide to write
. Write
~*~’What Should I Write~*~
A few ideas are:
. Articles
. Tips (eg top ten or top five ways to….)
. Letters to editors
. Reports (yes, reports!)
think of some more and add them to this list.
~*~What Topics Should I Write About?~*~
Here, your only limitation is in your imagination.
So be creative and let these questions serve as guidelines
in helping you decide what to write about:
. What information will potential customers find
useful?
. What are you interested in? Find a way to make it
relevant to your business and write about it.
. If you were in your potential customers’ shoes, what
topics (related to your business) would interest you?
. In what ways have you solved problems for people in
the past? Write them down. Chances are, other people
would benefit from the solution you provided.
. What are your experiences as a business owner? Write
about them.
. Fill in the blanks :
a) How To …….
b) Top 5 Ways to……
c) What Many People Don’t Know About……
d) My Favourite Pastime is….
What you’ve got now is a bunch of potential headings for your
articles, tips, reports or whatever.
If you think about it, there’s a lot for you to write about.
All you have to do now is actually put pen to paper (hand to
computer).
~*~What Should I Do With What I’ve Written?~*~
Submit, submit, submit!
Newsletter editors and webmasters all over the ‘net are looking
for fr*ee content for their subscribers and visitors.
Imagine the exposure you get by submitting an article to an
ezine with thousands of opt-in subscribers. Fr*ee of charge, too!
It’d be more expensive (and not always as effective in pulling
in prospects) to advertise in the same publication.
Here is a brief list of places that accept articles for
publication or announcement:
. PromoteYourArticle@yahoogroups (you need to subscribe fr*ee)
. article_announce@yahoogroups.com (subscribe first. Fr*ee)
. http://www.family-content.com/articles/submit.shtml
. http://ezinearticles.com/add_url.html
To receive a list of 50 groups and sites that accept
submissions send an email to submissionlist@….
Here’s how it works. The key is to have a system that you use.
An example is below:
. Write at least one article each month.
. Include a resource box at the end of it.
. Include permission to fr*eely distribute it at the top.
. Submit it to at least 5 sites each day.
~*~To make your writing easily acceptable and profitable~*~
. Provide useful information. No sales letters or pitches.
. Include some way to get readers to contact you:
you could offer a fre*ebie or a link to your website.
This info goes into your resource box.
. Make your resource box about 4 – 6 lines long. I’ve
included mine at the end of this article to give you
an idea.
. Write it using a text editor like Notepad – that’s
how many editors prefer to receive submissions.
. Format it to be 65 characters long per line. Press
the ‘enter’ key each time you get to 65 characters
(unless your text editor has word-wrap in which case
you’d set it to wrap at 65 characters).
. Always obey submission guidelines to the letter.
. Follow the writing tips below.
~*~Writing Tips~*~
. Write like you talk. Be conversational in your
writing. If you can hold a conversation, you can write.
. After writing your first draft, leave it to ‘fallow’
then start on your next article.
. Never submit your first draft. Rewrite it after a day
or two.
. Spell check thoroughly. Check for grammar errors too.
Get someone else to read through it if you can – they
may pick up something you’ve missed.
. Obey submission guidelines (it’s so important, hence
my repeating it here)
. Write something everyday. Even if it’s just a personal
journal entry, just write. It’ll get you into the
habit, and keep you creative.
I didn’t quite expect this ‘tip’ to turn into a full blown
article! But hey, I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you’ve
enjoyed reading it.
If you have then start writing today.
And start submitting.

Write For The Web TODAY
March 9, 2006 on 12:01 pm | In Writing | No CommentsCopyright ® 2004 by Angela Booth. All rights reserved.
The Web is one of the biggest markets for your writing skills.
Are you ignoring this enormous market? With hundreds of thousands
of merchants online, someone has to write their material. It
could be you.
Web merchants need:
* Direct selling sales pages;
* Mini-Web sites (often called “Buy, bookmark or leave” sites);
* Content for Web sites;
* Autoresponders (an autoresponder is basically an automated
email message with its own email address. When a message is sent
to the autoresponder’s address, it sends its message in response.
Autoresponders are often created as a series of messages,
comprising from two to several dozen messages. These series can
be written as e-courses.) and
* Basic copywriting help.
To get work writing for Web merchants, also known as Web
marketers, you need to understand what these merchants are trying
to do. Selling online has a lot in common with mail-order
marketing. Every word you write has to sell.
This may be a psychological block for you. It shouldnÆt be.
Copywriting students have said to me: “I can write, but I canÆt
sell — can I still write copy for businesses?”
My answer’s simple. OF COURSE YOU CAN! Everything you write is a
sales job. You’re vying for readers’ attention, so whatever
you’re writing, you’re selling.
=> Research Internet marketing on the Web itself
Internet marketers, those merchants who own online businesses,
are the people who need your writing skills, so you need to
research their needs. Type “Internet Marketing” into any search
engine, and you’ll be inundated with material about Internet
marketing.
I’ve listed a couple of sites to get you started:
Michael Fortin is a well-known Web writer. Reading his site is an
education in Internet marketing:
http://successdoctor.com/
Web Marketing Today also has good information:
http://www.wilsonweb.com/
The next step is to create a (small) site of your own. Please
donÆt be intimidated at the idea of this. The entire process
shouldnÆt take you longer than a weekend, at most. All you need
to get started is to create a home page for the site, which in
the beginning will only contain a bio, links to your portfolio
(writing samples), and a price list.
=> Pricing your writing services for online marketers
Copywriting for the online market pays very well. For example,
for an online sales page, you can charge around $1500. An online
sales page is a simply long, highly informative advertisement.
Here’s a sales page from our Digital-e site:
http://www.digital-e.biz/ebook_internet_age.html
As sales pages go, this one’s quite short; you’d look to charge
around $1500 for a page of this length.
If you’re asked to write a page which is longer than around 1,000
words, you will of course charge more. Some copywriters charge a
percentage of each sale made from pages they’ve written.
There you go. If you’re serious about making money from your
writing skills, learn how to write for the Web. The Web will be
around for a long time, and you’ll always have eager buyers for
your work.
If you need help getting started, take our Digital-e Web writing
coaching course:

The Value of Articles
March 8, 2006 on 12:29 pm | In Writing | No CommentsAuthor: Ken Nadreau
Website: http://articlsubmitterpro.com/
It goes without saying that advertising is a key element to any successful business. If people aren’t aware that your business exists, there’s no way you’ll make it. So to succeed, you need to get the word out.
There are several methods of advertising that have been proven to be effective. Email marketing is one that has been used for many years now. However, due to abuses like “spam” and the establishment of the “Can Spam” law, using this method has been reduced to sticking with opt-in subscribers to ezines and newsletters.
Though this can still bring in a great many sales, it’s limited to the same people getting your message every time. Unless you have a killer way of getting more people to opt-in, you’re marketing efforts could become stagnated.
Another way is to advertise in news groups such as those found on Yahoo Groups and Google Groups. This type of advertising also works, but for the most part you’re inundated with return advertisements from other marketers who really aren’t interested in your ad.
As each method of advertising gradually become “old news,” the ingenuity of marketing experts come up with new ways of getting their messages out to the public. In fact, over the last couple of years, another way of getting “seen” has become quite popular among marketers . . .
Articles that carry a message geared to certain markets have taken the fore front of advertising lately. These articles, though rarely a direct advertisement for a particular product, can be “themed” to allude to products by offering “tips and tricks”, “how-to’s”, and other information that put’s a reader in a frame of mind that could lead them to wanting the product, or at least have an interest in it.
Added to these subtle hints in the body of an article, in most cases you are allowed to add your “bio box” which is a section attached to an article that tells the reader about you, the author. Here you can add your website url that leads the reader to the very product your article alludes to.
Your article can and should be uploaded to your website for browsers to find.
But there’s also a better way to utilize of your article that could bring thousands of people into ear shot of your message . . .
Along with the popularity of articles, many websites have been created to accept and post articles. These websites are frequented by other marketers looking for free content for their own websites, who are allowed to take these posted articles and place them on their own pages providing they leave the article including the “bio boxes” intact.
Consider what this means . . .
A single article could conceivably be posted on hundreds of submission sites, and reused, intact, by thousands of other marketers.
Each time your article gets posted on a submission site, you get publicity, plus an external link pointing back to your site where your sales pages are. So with just going this far, your article could bring a couple of hundred links pointing back to your promotional or sales pages.
But what happens if thousands of other marketers take your article from these submission sites and reuse it on their sites?
You end up with an enormous viral campaign is what happens!
And unlike the regular ads you see on classified pages, your articles can, in time, label you as an expert in your field because they give you room to really say what you have to say.
Yes, writing articles and submitting them to as many places as possible, can be viral and can boost your credibility, your visitors, and most of all, your sales.
Not too bad for something you can do for free!

Finding A Pot Of Gold In Article Writing
March 7, 2006 on 12:17 pm | In Marketing, Writing | Comments OffAuthor: Katie Smith
If you have a website, then you have probably been bombarded by people telling you that writing articles is the key to successful marketing. However, unless you are a professional writer, article writing probably seems as unachievable as obtaining that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Well, you may not be able to find the end of the rainbow, but you can achieve the task of writing an article. Just follow these simple tips, and you will be well on your way to success!
First, choose a topic and stick with it. Whether you decide to write on marketing, business tips, or fashion advice, make sure that you know your topic well. Research your subject often so you are up-to-date on the most recent advice being given. After all, you do not want to appear unprofessional by being out of the loop!
Second, make a list. Many successful articles are Top 10, 5, 3 lists. Others, such as the one you are reading, are lists of successful tips. Most readers look at articles to increase their knowledge of the subject in a timely manner. Don’t drag on and on over your topic.
Third, set aside a time each week to write articles. Make yourself focus on the task at hand and dive into writing that elusive article. The longer you put it off, the less likely you will be to take the time to do it. If you feel an onset of writer’s block, take a deep breath and relax. Just start writing the first things that come to your mind to get your thoughts flowing. Soon you will find the words to say what you are thinking.
Overall, remember that article writing does not have to be a burdensome task. If you know your business, then you have plenty of advice to share with other people. Have someone else read your article when it is completed to have an outsider’s point of view.
Just as Dorothy found her way over the rainbow, you can find your way to writing a successful article. Now go put your pen to the page and show yourself what you can do!

The Benefits of Writing Articles
March 6, 2006 on 12:07 pm | In Marketing, Writing | Comments OffAuthor: Tina Andlaw
Website: http://www.sunseekerhomes.com
Article writing is an easy and powerful optimization tool that drives targeted traffic to your web site in proportions never seen before.
Instead of merely creating a web site and hoping it gets seen, why not target your related information at other sites too who, in return for your article, allow you a link back to your website via a resource box? Here are six benefits:
1. Gain Visits
Articles are a very effective marketing tool to promote your web site and thereby increase your business.
Your articles drive traffic to your web site from thousands of other sites. Visitors to other sites will often link to you for more information……AND links mean potential business!
2. Earn a Wide, Captive Audience on The Web
As an article writer you can write about your chosen interest as often as you like and then submit it to various websites, eager for extra free copy to add to their websites.
In doing so, you will increase your chances of being noticed by the reader who will spot your articles on potentially thousands of web sites and they will click to your link.
As importantly, the more links you have from other websites, the more you are picked up by search engine optimization tools.
3. Gain Credibility
The more presence you have on the web, the more credibility you will earn amongst readers. Your company name will be a name on everybodys´ lips when searching for a reputable real estate business!
The better the information supplied to the reader, the more informed and professional your business will appear. The more you are published, the more you will be portrayed as the “guru” in the field, who is willing to share valuable knowledge with the reader.
Through your presence on the internet, without trying, you will already have established a good relationship with many readers. They will be sure to look for your site in the future when looking for quality information on your services.
4. Free Advertising
Yes, articles are completely free! So you can promote your company through other peoples´ websites and literally “speak to” thousands of international readers, and yes, these readers are likely to link to your site.
5. Immediate Updates
Unlike updating a website, articles allow us to submit as much and as often as we like.
If there is a new subject of interest in your business, you can publicise it immediately. Your article will show everyone out there that your company has its finger on the pulse, it is well informed and it is the first to inform them of the news. This, in turn, earns you more respect from readers and in turn, more traffic.
6. Easy
With websites such as www.articlesender.com to do all the hard work for you it really is very easy to submit your articles to thousands of other websites.
In conclusion
Basically, the bottom line is that the six benefits of article writing all have one valuable thing in common: they all increase traffic to your website. In doing so they optimize your search engine ranking, thus generating more business – in my opinion, an easy opportunity definitely not to be missed!

How to structure your article to get published
March 5, 2006 on 12:14 pm | In Marketing, Writing | Comments OffAuthor: Christine Anderssen
Website: http://www.xpressideas.com
Writing articles is one of the best ways to promote your service or product since it establishes you as an expert in the field and you can get hundreds, if not thousands of links back to your website. But not all articles are created equal. In order to get the maximum benefit from your article writing they should have a consistent layout and structure. Follow these tips to give structure to your content and your articles will have a much bigger impact and stand a better chance of getting published.
For people whose literate capabilities extend to that last school essay that they handed in with a sigh of relief, writing an article is a daunting task and the end result often looks like a wasteland of grey text. A good article is written in such a way that it pulls the reader in and guides him through the content. Conforming to a standard format also makes it easier for article directories and sites that publish content to pick up your article and publish it. It also contributes to a professional image of you, the writer.
Here are the components of an article and how you should use each one for maximum benefit.
~ Title ~
The title of your article, like the title of your website, is probably the most important part of your article. And, much like the title of your website, you are writing for both the search engines as well as human beings. For the sake of the search engines, include your main keyword or keyword phrase in the title. For the sake of your reader, you have to create a title that will “pull the reader in”. In other words, your title must persuade the reader to read the rest of your article. Some examples of good titles are:
“7 tips for ”
or
“5 ways to ”
A good tip here is to use odd numbers! For some reason odd numbers seem to be more ‘compelling’ than even numbers.
Another tip for coming up with a killer title is to use some of the headline making software that helps you come up with compelling headlines for your sales letters, like Headline Creator Pro. While you might not actually use the headlines it suggests, you will quickly have a list of 100 headlines to play around with and modify. Just be careful though of not loading your title with too much hype – you are, after all, writing an article and not a sales letter!
~ Summary or Introduction ~
The summary, or description, of your article is often overlooked. This might be the only piece of text that will be displayed when your article shows up in an article directory. Sometimes you have the option of submitting the summary separately, other times the article directory software simply takes the first paragraph or so of your article. I suggest that you focus on the first paragraph of your article to provide you with your summary and introduction at the same time.
Like the title, it should create curiosity in the mind of your reader to entice them to read further. Please remember that a good article tries to solve some problem for the reader – try and describe what problem THIS article will solve. Describing the problem by means of a story or example help to make it real in your reader’s mind. A personal example also helps to establish you, the writer, as a real person and creates a rapport with your reader.
~ Body ~
The body of your article will bring across your main solution to the problem that you have sketched in the mind of your reader in your summary and introduction. Please remember to stick to ONE topic! It is very tempting to branch off into different directions, especially if you are enthusiastic about your area of expertise. If you find that you are wandering off into other areas, even if they are related to your main topic, consider saving that information in a scratch pad and make another article out of the material.
DO use bullet points or subheadings to break up your article. Bullets and headings catch the eye and once more pull the reader into the text. But some article directories do not allow HTML code or other formatting inside your body. My suggestion is that you write for ‘text only’ as a standard. Simulate bullets and headings by making use of numbers, capitals, or a special character, like the tilde (~), or star (*).
~ Ending ~
The ending should summarise the reasons why the article solves the problem stated in the title and the introduction. Try and end with an interesting point or final quote, to invite readers to further investigate the topic.
~ Resource box ~
The resource box is the place to write a mini-ad for your site, service or product. You can send people directly to an affiliate link here, or direct them to your site. Try to make the link contain your major keyword or keyword phrase, for maximum ‘backlink’ benefit – if you can.
If you follow this simple layout structure (obviously combined with great content!) for your articles you will find that
- more article directories will accept your articles for submission
- you present a professional image that instils confidence in your reader
- your articles will get published on more websites, leading to more traffic
in short, your articles will get the exposure they deserve!

Article Writing And Article Marketing Basics
March 4, 2006 on 11:47 am | In Marketing, Writing | Comments OffAuthor: Evelyn Lim
Want to know how to increase publicity for your website, in a sure and steady way? You may not realize it but many website operators use the same trick to generate traffic for virtually nothing.
Which is? Write content-rich and focused articles and submit to directory sites, other people’s sites and ezines. This process is called article writing and article marketing.
Now, why would an ezine publisher or website owner want to post your targeted articles on their websites or use your articles for their mailing lists? The answer is that not many can produce tons of content that is specific and focused. And tons of high quality content helps to build traffic to their sites and loyal subscribers to their mailing lists.
Here is where your article comes in. In exchange for a byline and a link to your site (called a “resource box”), you allow website owners to use your content as it is. No one is allowed to make any changes to your article without your permission.
Here are some other advantages for article writing and article marketing:
* Gain “Expert” Status when you share your knowledge and expertise. Just look at the people who write newspaper columns. You get to appear like an expert when your articles are posted in a couple of article directory websites and when you write on a variety of topics pertaining to the same niche area.
* You can do some nifty preselling. This is especially if your article appeals to a niche audience hungry for some specific information. That way, you’ve already presold yourself, when they click over to your site.
* You get more links to your site. Then, you’d be able to enhance your search engine positioning just by your “link popularity”. Once your article is posted on another person’s website or an article directory, it is likely that it will stay there for a long time.
* You are providing an excellent tool to help your affiliates. Your affiliates are likely to promote you more often and more effectively compared to those who don’t provide such help.
* It is also excellent for building an opt-in email list. Statistics show that on average, a prospect visits your website seven times before clicking a buy order. A constant stream of emails (with his/her permission) at regular intervals can help break down “defences” and build relationships. In addition, once the relationship is build, back end sales or sales of other products and services become easier.
So, do you need to have a flair for writing in order for you to write? Absolutely not. You just need to remember just two simple rules:
* Put down your thoughts naturally. Just like how you would explain to a friend about this subject over a cup of tea.
* Write simply. Bad grammer does not help. Complicated sentences and sentences that go on and on forever may not help you get your message across. So make your article an easy read.
Now, what is an easy way to get started on writing? Think of key problems that your audience is likely to have and then write an article that provides the solution. A few key examples here should help kick-start your writing:
10 ways to help you…..
5 extremely useful resource tips that you should know about….
7 time saving tips to….
1 breakthrough tip that…..
You can organize your article in this manner: an introduction (you can identify the problems that your readers are facing and your own short story or experiences), the list of points (the “solution”) and a concluding paragraph (asking your readers to take some action).
After you finished writing, get someone to vet through your article. Alternatively, you can wait some time later and take a look at your article again. Improve it and check for grammer and spelling.
Then, it’s time for article marketing. Submit your article to article announcement lists and article directories like http://www.ArticleMap.com. In your submission, make sure your articles comply with specific guidelines required by the publisher.
Article marketing can generate visitor traffic to your website as your articles get published and syndicated across the world. As you write and submit more articles, traffic to your site will definitely pick up speed!

Easy Article Writing Tips
March 3, 2006 on 12:03 pm | In Writing | No CommentsAuthor: Nell Taliercio
Whether you are just starting out with your online business or you are seasoned pro, writing and distributing articles is one of the most effective and low-cost ways to drive lots of targeted traffic to your site. Writing articles and submitting them to the article directories will get you free traffic when people click on the link in your resource box. It is also a great way to improve search engine rankings, since you will have plenty of incoming links to your site. Let’s take a look at how you can get started writing articles. Here are a few tips to get you started.
Write a Top Ten List
An easy way to get started with an article is to come up with a Top Ten List. Find a topic related to your business and jot down ten reasons why someone should purchase your product or offer advice on a topic that’s related to your website. Examples would be top ten ways to get your baby to sleep through the night, top ten reasons to write articles, or top ten reasons to buy car insurance. Once you have your list of ten items, write a little paragraph about each, explaining the reason in a little more detail.
Next you add an introductory paragraph that pulls the reader into your list. For example an introduction to the baby sleeping through the night article could mention how hard it is to make it through the day and how sleep deprived you are until you get your baby to sleep through the night. Then close your article either by summing up what you just told them in your top ten lists or encouraging them to act on what you just told them about.
Congratulations, you just wrote an article. Of course you can easily shorten this to a top 5 list. Just write a little more about each of your points.
Record Your Article
Some people prefer recording themselves while they are talking about a particular topic and then transcribing and editing it into an article. If you have an easier time talking about a particular topic than writing about it, this may be a great option for you. Most MP3 players now come with a record option, or you can pick up a cheap tape-recorder. Pick a topic and just start talking as if you were explaining it to a friend. Just start babbling and the ideas will start to flow. Now listen to your tape. Write down and arrange the major points you mad in order. Add an intro and a closing and you have another article.
Hire a Ghost Writer
If you are having a hard time writing articles, or just don’t have the time to do it, you can still benefit from article marketing by hiring a ghostwriter. Ghost Writers will write unique articles for you that become your intellectual property. You can post them as your own work to your site, your blog, as well as the article directories. You can find a ghost writer on sites like elance. There are also some freelance writers with their own websites out there. You can usually buy articles anywhere from $5 – $65.
Write an Outline and Have Someone Else Turn it into an Article
Another option if you don’t want to do all the writing yourself is for you to write a basic outline of the article and the point you want to bring across. Jot down any ideas you have for the article, then ask a friend or hire someone to flesh it out for you into an article. You may be more comfortable with passing these articles off as your own, since the content of the article was your original idea. Someone else just put it into an article format for you.
There is no reason for you not to get started with article marketing one way or the other. Get a few articles out there and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You’ll be so impressed by the results you can get even from a handful of article, you’ll be writing them and submitting them all the time.

Article Writing -Tips for Article Writing Beginners
March 2, 2006 on 12:00 pm | In Writing | No CommentsAuthor: Monty Loree
Website: http://www.express-marketing.com
I’ve been writing articles and webpages, which are like articles since 1999.
Article writing is a beautiful thing. The magic of the power of the pen comes alive
when a well researched and written article gets published and read on thousands of websites.
I have inspired thousands of readers by the things I have written.
People need valuable information. There are hundreds of millions of internet users that need
and seek out good quality information.
Ultimately the goal for having people read your article is that they will get to know you better
and trust that you’re an expert in your field. (See our site for our free ebook about The KLT Factors which talk about why people buy from you. www.express-marketing.com) In the world of the internet, articles are a very important way of developing your credibility.
Articles help people to LIKE YOU and TRUST YOU.
ARTICLE WRITING IS NOT EASY
It’s not easy just to jump in and start writing articles about a subject, even if you’re an expert
in that subject. When you think about it, writers and journalists have had to go to school in the
past to learn this skill. Good writing that is appreciated by a body of readers takes a great deal of skill and exercise to hone the craft.
THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE HAVE WITH ARTICLE WRITING
As with all types of skills there are a few barriers to entry when it comes to article writing
1) Fear of writing and getting published.
At first, article writing is filled with the fear of the unknown. It’s like public speaking for many people.
Having people read, and evaluate your thoughts in public IS scary. Putting your thoughts and feelings into public makes you vulnerable to the public environment.
• The best way to tackle this is to simply write and publish an article. You’ll get a quick feeling of how it works as soon as you publish the article.
• Research your material and make sure that what you’re writing is correct, truthful and relevant.
Writing valuable, factual information will keep you out of trouble, and will win the respect of the readers.
• Realize that you will enhance your credibility by publishing. This benefit should greatly outweight your fear.
2) Lack of writing skills
Yes… writing does take skill. It’s a profession in itself. When I first started writing articles and web pages I was daunted at all of the things I needed to learn.
• You need to make a decision… If you’re going to use article writing as a means to increase your credibility and generate some traffic for your website, you’re going to have to take the hit and start writing.

Have you wasted valuable time and money trying to promote your online business? If you’ve spent hard-earned cash buying ads on ezines or on websites, you may have been disappointed with the results.
There’s a better way to advertise your business or website!
Article writing is for you if you want great benefits that don’t cost anything.
By submitting quality articles you’ll get lots of exposure and publicity — without a financial investment! You’ve probably realized by now that the internet is about information, so content brings visitors to your site. That’s a no-brainer!
Consider the possibilities of regularly writing for the internet.
Your work may be seen by millions. Articles written today can quickly appear on over 100 websites.
Search engines are constantly looking for new content to feed content-hungry readers. Why not yours?
By keeping your work before the public, your website will keep getting new visitors who become buyers. As your words are spread all over the internet, your targeted traffic will increase. That’s how to reach lots of qualified buyers. Previous customers will be motivated to become repeat buyers.
By writing regularly, you can reach affiliates or joint venture partners who can help your sales’ potential.
Your articles can be permanently displayed on the internet.
Your reputation can spread all over the internet and beyond. Think of the reach just one article can have!
Your influence could span the globe!
What you’ve written can show up in the most surprising places.
1. Your words may wind up on on a number of publishers’ home pages.
2. You could get featured in a large ezine with thousands of subscribers.
3. Your work could be published in a book or in magazines.
4. An author may ask to use one or more of your articles in an e-book and you’ll be credited.
5. You may get discovered and earn extra income through speaking engagements.
6. You may be given the opportunity to speak on radio shows.
7. You may even be interviewed for national newspapers.
You may not have to wait long before seeing amazing results.
As you submit your work to ezines and article directories, keep in mind that top-ranking sites are crawled by Google more often than other sites. When these sites publish your writing, you’ll soon see results.
With each article you submit, your reputation will grow. After you’ve submitted twenty or so, you may become a household name — at no charge to you!
An author’s works are often kept permanently on websites, so one keyword-rich article can bring thousands of hits for years to come.
Articles not only build your reputation, but are the best way to raise your search engine ranking.
Reciprocal linking is viewed as less important to Google than one-way linking. If numerous sites point to your website without you linking back, Google rewards you with a higher rank.
You get back links automatically by submitting articles and you don’t even have to bother with link exchanges to increase rankings. You also don’t have to worry about Google’s ever-changing algorithm changes that can dump your website several pages down in one day.
Your published works prove you’re an expert — at least in the eyes of readers who view you as knowledgeable. You also establish credibility and trust. Your words can create your own brand for your website and business.
The written word has clout, so you can clinch your point.
Writing brings personal satisfaction.
There’s a great sense of accomplishment from sharing your expertise with the online community.
Real people are sitting behind computers in their homes or offices reading what you’ve written. Through the right words you can build rapport with them.
You’ll probably get emails from time to time telling how something you wrote helped someone. And that’s satisfying!
So there you have it –
Writing articles can open surprising doors to success!
